Die in Zusammenarbeit mit Kailh-Ingenieuren entwickelte Schalterreihe Ambients funktioniert auf jeder Tastatur, die mit Choc V1 kompatibel ist. Ja, Sie haben richtig gelesen, sowohl die Tastenkappenschnittstelle als auch der PCB-Footprint bleiben gegenüber früheren Choc V1-Schaltern unverändert, sodass Ihre vorhandene Tastatur diese neuen Schalter verwenden kann.

Die Ambients basieren auf dem originalen Kailh Choc V1-Schalter, sind jedoch ein völlig neues Design, bei dem alle Teile neu gestaltet wurden, um die neuen Komponenten aufzunehmen, die zur Geräuschdämpfung des typischen Schalters erforderlich sind. Silikonpuffer wurden im neuen Design strategisch platziert, um sowohl den Abwärts- als auch den Aufwärtshub eines Tastendrucks abzufedern, ohne dabei ein matschiges Gefühl beim Tippen zu erzeugen.

These are fairly silent and feel very smooth. They're a little scratchy but once you break them in it's a very good experience. It isn't mushy like a normal silent switch, the switch bottom out is very firm.

The best switches I've ever used

I didn't know what I was getting myself into. Some switches that say silent are just slightly quiet but not these. Im never looking back. The feel is responsive and actually silent. If I need more I'll definitely be getting more

Beautifully Light!

Started with the Nocturnals on just the thumb keys of my Voyager. Progressed to have Ambient Twilights on homerow only and Nocturnals on all the rest. Definitely taught me not to bottom out like I used to. Much better for the hands.

super silent, incredibly comfortable

I was using Khail pink chocs as Iove the MX Silent Pinks, but the keys were still extremely noisy, with a lot of plastic on plastic clicking happening. Typing felt a bit lose too.

The ambient silent linear nocturnals fulfill all the expectations I had from the pinks : EXTREMELY quiet ... so much so that, even using the keyboard and knowing when a key is pressed, I barely hear anything except for the occasional very satisfying chonk, and the tactile feedback (on linears!) is amazing!

You really need these switches if you want *really* quiet and comfortable linear chocs with low weight and travel! I seriously don't know how they could be better.

PSA : you'll need 6 "boxes" to replace all switches on a Voyager.
