from 207 reviewsAmbients line up is fantastic. Love the sound.
35gf is a nice sweet spot for super light with tactility to feed-back into your fingers and prompt you to head to the next key, best WPM I've had is on 35gf switches. 1.5/3mm short stroke also helps a lot too.
Lube made barely any difference to both stem and spring, but worth doing the stem since it's easier to access than MX style stems. Don't bother with the spring. Stem lube just smooths out the chalky sound a bit and brings out a little more marble.
There is a slight increase in resistance at the end if you bottom it out. Otherwise unremarkable linear feel. On the voyager it's generally got issues with inconsistent feel, so take with a pinch of salt.

Until your wpm hits 100+, these are just fine. Even then, there's a slight bump as you move your fingers across to the above or below key, which you may consider distracting, but you quickly get used to it. It's very easy to find your home row, they just work so well.

Really quiet switches. I switched normal Kailh red with these on zsa voyager and the keyboard now is almost completely silent.

Premium look and feel. Happy with the quality, but I absolutely love they provide home keys for other layouts like dvorak

Previously I had been using some kind of red caps which had claimed to be the quietest caps available. They were too soft and were still too clacky.
These caps are completely different; these have a better resistance without being too heavy and are so much quieter.
Will definitely be ordering more for my other keyboards.

These are very quiet. On my board they make a very faint pleasant sound, kind of like pencil on paper. Way quieter than the only other "silent" switches I've tried (Cherry silent reds on an MX board). However they are slightly too light for my comfort - I sometimes get accidental keypresses from resting my fingers on the board. I got them because I was previously using Kailh Choc Browns and found them way too heavy and fatiguing for my fingers, and they are way better than the Browns, but I plan to get the Ambient Sunrises when they come out and hopefully those will be the happy medium.

I'm now using the keyboard at home and at work. The build guide didn't have any info on the Helios board, so in case others are wondering, the top two through holes are unused. You can use the ground pins to line things up with the lily58 kicad schematic. Also, flashing a helios just takes copying a uf2 file to the board once you've reset it and mounted it as a storage drive.
I had a lot of fun building it and a mild panic until I figured out the last bit!

A very nice screen. Slightly wider than normal oled which is nice and very small battery usage.
Only thing to improve would be to have these packaged with individual padding and the standoffs in a separate bag as I have had screens arrived damaged from other vendors.

They are quiet, light, and they feel great to type on. If you want a light low-profile switch, this is the switch to get.

Great kit, but had to buy a third microcontroller because I did not follow instructions correctly.
To avoid headaches for future customers please show position and orientation of right half microcontroller.

These switches are exactly as advertised, the first set of silent linear choc switches (alongside its lighter sibling switch). Despite the use of O-Rings to dampen the sound, these don't feel mushy at all and have a good typing feel while still being quiet.
Really appreciate KEEBD for picking these up so shipping is more convenient for me.

Very happy with these switches. You can of course get more fun or satisfying switches, but that's not why you buy these. I was really surprised by just how silent they were, which is exactly what I wanted.

DDCs are so much more natural than the MBKs I had before. They’re a bit tight on the switches, but how often are you really swapping your Choc keycaps anyway? Only thing to bear in mind is that, with how tight they fit, if your switches are soldered in then you may risk breaking the joints when removing the keycaps. But for how much of an improvement these are for comfort, it’s worth it.
Note that they are not vertically symmetrical - there is a correct orientation. The bottom edge of the keycap has a slightly longer slope.
