Replaced the stock Choc Browns that came with my ZSA Voyager. The actual tactile bump in a low profile switch is so much nicer than the Browns! Would highly recommend!

My go-to for my last two builds after trying them in my numpad. They've got enough spring weight to avoid mistyping due to heavy fingers or sloppy moving between mouse and back, but not too heavy for all day use. Nice medium tactile feel, you can feel it if you lightly press but if you're mashing in a hurry, they don't get in the way.
Easy recommend.
Amazing on my plate-foam-only aluminium case and plate 65%. With a GMK set, the sound is ducklings running on hardwood.

I ordered my Model H Board with shipping to Germany. It was actually in the country within one week, however DHL and customs took another two weeks before I could pick it up. I didn't have to pay customs or taxes, but the package had to be checked for its contents by the office. Since there was no extra cost and KEEBD themselves shipped really fast, I am very satisfied with the international shipping.

Now for the board itself, it arrived nicely packaged and preflashed with QMK. Since I wanted to do some custom mappings and preffered VIAL, I took the prebuilt VIAL firmware from GitHub (jberclaz/modelh).
Everything works as expected, all parts just fit well and I can now happily use my reprogrammable Model M.

As a sidenote:
To flash the board, you need to press the reset button after connecting USB and use dfu-util, so it's best to reflash it before putting it into the Model M case. If it's in DFU mode, the LED besides the reset button will blink continously.
If dfu-util shows 3 entries with the --list option, you need to specify '-a 2' as a parameter. DO NOT USE -a 1 or -a 0, otherwise the device will stop to boot and needs to be reflashed quickly after hitting reset.

This was my first diy keyboard and i made some users error but that's on me.

In the process of 3d printing some extra keycaps as my current keys does not represent what they actually do.
Great order process as well. I live in EU and had the package at my place about a week after the purchase.

I dont have a lot of experience with choc switches, but they feel great

I really like it. the build process was fun and easy and it looks well made.
the only downside was configuring the software, I had to learn zmk, search online for hours, experiment with different pinouts etc until I got it to work.. (I wanted it to be a simple macro pad)
I am currently working on a guide for the paintbrush to make the software side much MUCH easier for people like me who are not senior developers lol. I hope keebd will let me post it once I'm finished :)

This is indeed an excellent upgrade. It makes your Model M compatible with the latest connectivity standards. It’s also programmable. Installation is very easy and there is a 3D printed holder replacement. It works with both membrane types - old IBM with three connector and newer Lexmark with two connectors.

Used for a few months, one tilted rotated thingie legs broke - had to scoop out plastic remains from button socket
Default keycaps vere very loose, my custom ones were ok tho

I have tried a number of low profile switches and migrated to Purplz and Red Pros, since I like the feel of linear switches. However, these switches are a little scratchy and noisy compared to the box silent MX switches I used to use.

The ambient switches are smooth and very quiet. I have wireless and a wired ferris sweep, and I will never use anything else moving forward unless someone comes out with a switch that is even smoother and quieter.

Great keyboard came with a case and works perfect, it has frimware already loaded so works out of the box, just needs switches and keycaps
